The style of the Hummer H2 SUV Concept 2000 takes its cue from the HUMMER production vehicle, but clears the surface, using more open spikes and fasteners, for example. H2 windshield is more widely used, to improve aerodynamics, but for the naked eye still maintains an upright and aggressive vehicle appearance. The new windshield is one part of the cover, with no metal center barrier, greatly improving visibility for drivers and passengers.
Hummer H2 SUV Concept 2000’s appearance maintains HUMMER’s image of brute strength and strength. H2 has a short front and rear overhangs for aggressive ramp corners. Two exposed air tube cleaning filters are on the hood, one to provide cool air for the engine and another for clean air to the passenger compartment.
Another innovative feature of the Hummer H2 SUV Concept 2000 is its solar-powered, solar-powered rays, allowing the sun to shine on both lines of the five-passenger compartment. The skid plate protects the entire underbody of the vehicle. The slider-side skid plate is on the front and back side, along with skid approach and departure plates.
To enhance the off-road experience, the Hummer H2 SUV Concept 2000 has been developed with an all-new rear suspension that enhances four-wheel suspension, HUMMER’s all-independent suspension. New independent suspension makes one wheel does not affect the other on off-road applications. On-road, provides smoother ride, and better handling than straight axle applications. Overall, it provides unexpected stability, capability, and terrain. Front and rear suspensions are independent double wishbones with unequal-length arms, torque rods, stabilizer rods, and long journey, dual-rate coils on top of shocks with remote reservoirs.
The exterior is emphasized by a bronze glass. Influenced by the golden iridium color from famous mountain bike sunglasses and ski sunglasses, bronze glass provides a soothing color to the eye that allows for maximum visibility in all conditions. The 19 x 9.5 inch aluminum wheels have a sturdy high-tech display with an integrated bead locking system and are fitted with a tough 35-inch off-road Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain prototype.
The rear cargo area has a revolutionary three-tier cargo area. Floor lifts to reveal, cargo loads downstairs safe to receive packages and equipment to be taken down upon arrival at camp or other destination. The main floor can also be used for storage, and so are the sides, which have a bed-like bednet that can store more items and equipment, to make packing for every organized trip possible.
Powering Hummer H2 SUV Concept 2000 is a 6.0-liter GM, high output VORTEC 6000 V-8. Longitudinally installed, and mated to a four-speed heavy-duty automatic transmission with an AutotracTM four-wheel drive, which the driver uses through the lever instead of the regular pushbutton.
For Interior Hummer H2 SUV Concept 2000 brings HUMMER to new heights of luxury and comfort. Four leather bucket seats are equipped with a central jump seat in the second row. The instrument panel is simple and straightforward, and illuminated at night to emit a green oscilloscope, inspired by radar controls on military fighter jets. Metallic touches work together with body color pieces that match the outer shell of the H2 Yellow Signal.
Technology is definitely not forgotten. H2 Central Information Center features GPS navigation system, GM OnStarTM system, DVD video, CD player, and next generation MonsoonR audio with 10 speakers. There is also Night Vision from Raytheon, Internet access for sending and receiving e-mails, laptop docking stations and mobile docking stations, all with hands-free operational capabilities.
