Ferrari Testarossa 1987 Car Sport Design Lively – Ferrari that can make a spark in the automotive world with every new model that it launches. That’s what happened at the 1984 Paris Motor Show when the Italian car maker made its debut with the radical Testarossa as the successor to the popular BB 512. His name means “red head” and is a setback for the famous sports racing 250 Testa Rossa in the late 1950s. But that is just the same in name only.

The most recognizable feature of the Reborn Ferrari Testarossa 1987 is the deep horizontal receiver that ran along both doors, feeding air to the side-mount radiator. The world has never seen a car like that, and it’s polarized people who see it.

The power for the Testarossa Ferrari 1987 comes from a mid-mounted, 4.9-liter, 48-valve, 12-flat, which produces 380 horsepower and 361 ft-lb of torque-enough to propel the Testarossa Ferrari to 60 mph in just five seconds and on to the highest speed just shy of 180 mph. A five-speed gearbox puts all that power into the rear wheels, and independent suspension around, with the upper and lower arms of unequal arms, spring coils, hydraulic shocks, and anti-roll bars. Large ventilated disc brakes complement the mechanical package. Ferrari Testarossa 1987 is a lively machine.

Not much has changed on Ferrari Testarossa 1987 during the production of seven years. Although initially only equipped with two-sided driver’s side outside the mirror mounted halfway to the A pillar, in 1987 it was moved to an A-pillar base and a passenger mirror was added. A passive restrain system was also added in 1987.
