Ford Transit EcoBlue 2016 Cargo Design Fuel Efficient – Ford Transit has become Ford’s popular vehicle for decades in the world of goods transport within the city. Ford Transit is still a van on the side of commercial vehicles. With more than 50 years of experience in the automotive market, the Ford Transit now offers more than just a large five or six meter van. There are now four transits to choose from, each offering greater and better practicality.
The new 2.0-liter EcoBlue diesel engine is an environmentally friendly engine with diesel fuel. EcoBlue diesel uses the technology used in a row of EcoBoost engines but adopts a new architecture. The new 2.0-liter unit replaces the 2.2-liter diesel out and offers a 20 percent improvement in low-end torque and also a 13 percent improvement in fuel efficiency, with CO2 of just 157g / km.
The power output includes 104bhp, 128bhp and 168bhp, with torque increase of 50Nm, 35Nm and 20Nm respectively when compared to the equivalent out. Although the increase in power and efficiency is big news, the bigger news with this new EcoBlue diesel is that it will eventually be available in the Ford lineup, such as the Ford Transit EcoBlue 2016.
The Ford Transit EcoBlue 2016 uses the new EcoBlue 104bhp 2.0-liter engine with rear-wheel drive mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, and for those with sharp eyes, it may see a smooth chrome strip on the front, the way Ford identifies its new EcoBlue fleet.
