Husky TSV 2009 Tactical Military Vehicle Flexible – Husky TSV 2009 is a high-mobility tactical vehicle Tactical Support Vehicle (TSV) based on the International truck model. The vehicle was specially designed for the Army’s military. The Army’s tactical fleet of tactical vehicles is very flexible which can be used to transport supplies. Husky will support light armored vehicles.
Husky TSV 2009 is part of the operational vehicle utility system program (OUVS) launched in 2003. The vehicle is equipped with commonly-installed multi-purpose machine gun and remote controlled weapon system with door port and glass ignition. The weapons included in the weapon system have a caliber of up to 12.7mm.
Husky TSV 2009’s robust framework is capable of being up-armored while retaining its maneuverability, hauling and braking capacity. This armor has been designed to have two removable armor gear, A-kit and B-kit.
Husky TSV 2009 is powered by MaxxForce D6.0L V8 engine. It provides 340hp (254kW) and can be driven at a maximum speed of 70mph. Each single Nato fuel derivative can be used to refuel the engine. The Husky is equipped with Hutchinson wheels with a bead lock retention system and Michelin 395 / 85R20 radial tires.
