The new 4 valve per barrel heads were embraced on the 430 from 1991, boosting the force yield to 278 bhp. The auto was allocated the 430 4v. unofficial ID, to separate it from the base model, which was kept up. Both models profited from the most recent styling updates: new slimmer headlights, more extensive front grille, new guards and ledges, 7-talked combinations and spoilers on the boot top and at the base of the windscreen.

Outfitted as standard with the dynamic electronic suspension control, the 430 4v. was truly wears arranged, yet without abandoning unrivaled inside refinement.
