The Toyota Corona Mark II appeared in September 1968 as another Corona arrangement situated between the Crown and Corona lines. The Corona Mark II was a size bigger than the Corona, and came furnished with a 1,600 cc or 1,900 cc motor. The Corona Mark II line was acquainted accordingly with the quick development of the local market for individual utilize autos in the late 1960s, which required carmakers to grow their model range. Prior in April 1968, Nissan had propelled the Laurel into this upper center market portion. Rather than the Nissan Laurel which began with a 4-entryway car, the Corona Mark II offered 4-entryway car, 2-entryway hardtop, station wagon, van, and single/twofold taxi pickup models from the earliest starting point. Its boundless lineup included extravagance models and the energetic GSS show with a 1,900 cc DOHC motor (included October 1969), highlighting an aggregate of 11 models in 52 sorts. In a facelift in February 1970, the removal of the 1,600 cc motor was moved up to 1,700 cc.
