Volkswagen XL Sport Concept 2014 Cool Innovative Design – Volkswagen showed off its sports car, the 2014 XL Sport concept which was exhibited at the world premiere at the Paris Motor Show. Volkswagen XL Sport Concept 2014 combines design with more aggressive features than a sports car. Extensive modifications began at the front, where XL’s nose was flat with some side vents, aerodynamic dividers, larger bumper air dams, and ventilated hoods. At the rear of Volkswagen XL Sport Concept 2014 with a reconfigured fascia to include a large grille. At the bottom there is a carbon fiber diffuser with four fins and two exhaust tips integrated near the sides. The back of Volkswagen XL Sport Concept 2014 with a round shape on the hood, with adjustable wings and large side vents.
The entire structure of Volkswagen XL Sport Concept 2014 uses lightweight materials. The 2014 concept of the Volkswagen XL Sport has a whole body made of carbon fiber with a reinforced polymer (CFRP). In the lower body, including the front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser, using materials from carbon fiber. Volkswagen XL Sport Concept 2014 only weighs 890 kg.
The interior of Volkswagen XL Sport Concept 2014 is very cool and with a Sport cabin style but looks cramped. The addition of several enhancements and unique features that strengthen the character of a sports car with new digital instruments. To eliminate reflection, Volkswagen also added a flat carbon section at the top of the instrument cluster. There are anodized aluminum accents around the air vents and DSG sliding doors. Shifting paddles behind the wheel are also made of anodized aluminum. Ornament round red contrast stitching on the seat belt.
Volkswagen XL Sport Concept 2014 engine takes power from a 1.2-liter V-2 that produces up to 11,000 rpm and produces 197 horsepower and 98 pound-foot torque, with a product engine from Ducati. DSG gearbox that allows XL Sport to run from zero to 62 mph in just 5.7 seconds. The highest speed of the Volkswagen XL Sport Concept is 167 mph. This high speed thanks to the aerodynamic design of the XL Sport and the drag coefficient of 0.258.
